THE PERFECT PLUNGER COFFEE
Here's a Jacksonville Coffee pro lesson on how to make the perfect plunger (Bodum) coffee.
First, boil the kettle and let the water stand for 90 seconds after boiling. This is so you don't burn the coffee. You don't want to do that!
Swirl some boiling water in the empty Bodum to warm it up, then tip out the water.
Put 4 semi-heaped tablespoons of freshly ground Jacksonville Coffee into the empty, pre-warmed Bodum. If you like your coffee slightly stronger, use 5 semi-heaped tablespoons.
Pour the boiling water that has been standing for 90 seconds into the bodum almost to the top. You'll see the air bubbles that form from the gases that are released post-roasting.
Give it a quick little stir. Place the plunger on top of the Bodum and let it sit there for 4 minutes.
After 4 minutes, gently and slowly press down the plunger.
Enjoy your coffee!
